BAD WEATHER. Snow on Santis, so decided not to tempt our luck. Checked out a day early and travel to sunnier Engadin.
July 29 - Hiking: Hike Wasserauen -> Santis Summit -> Wildhaus (15 miles)To return back to Wasserauen: either meet car (1 hr drive) or Bus to Oberriet & meet car.

July 29 Region #2: : Travel to lower Engadin Valley (Scuol and the Swiss National Park)
Travel through Vaduz, Lichtenstein; then down to Davos and over the Fluelpass to Scuol.

July 30 - Scuol: bus to Val Mingen trail head and thru-hike Swiss Nat. Park back to Tarasp (castle) and Scuol (long day. 15+ hilly miles)

July 31 - (Sun.) Scuol: car to Zernez (Swiss Nat. Park Headqtrs) -> pick a 1/2 day hike

Aug 2, 3 - Day #1: Es-cha Hut (9-mile loop) or Kesch-Hut to Bergun (through hike, 17 miles; bus home).
Day #2: choose from one of the 4 following hikes:
1) Muragl loop (cog; lake & pass lp back to LaPunt);
2) Pontresina - Piz Languard (Georgy Hut, summit);
3) Pontresina - Val Roseg - Coaz Hut; my favorite
4) St Moritz - Piz Nair (tram) - Suvretta-Bever-LaPunt
