2023 Alicia Wiltsee

This year’s choir honoree is Alicia Wiltsee. When I think of Alicia, this Bible verse comes to mind:

1 Peter 4:10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others as faithful servants of God ‘s grace in it’s various forms.

Alicia has found so many ways to follow Jesus through service. She has been a faithful soprano in the choir for nearly 20 years. Alicia sings confidently and with her whole heart. You can see that she believes every word she sings. Besides her commitment to the choir, she has been a member of the Praise Team for a number of years. Alicia can also be found working with the toddlers in the Nursery. She’s served on the Ad Board, and will be returning in January to serve once more. It seems that wherever there is a need, Alicia is there helping out. For years, she helped out with the Duck Supper to benefit Ranch Hope. She has also been a part of the Jamaican Mission team where she ministered to handicapped orphans and was a part of a street ministry.

Alicia’s family members include her mom, Kathy; dad, Asa; stepdad, John; sister Megan and step siblings Katie John and Duy (Duey). She grew up in Monroeville where she attended Upper Pittsgrove Twp. Schools. Alicia enjoyed singing in the elementary choir there and was also a Girl Scout. She graduated from Woodstown High School where she sang in choir. Alicia currently lives in Elmer with her beloved cat, Mochi Bolt. She has worked for ACME for 19 ½ years.

Alicia’s hobbies include all things Disney. Her favorite character is Tarzan. She has been to Disney world numerous times as well as Disneyland. She’s even had the chance to visit Disney Paris. In addition to Paris, she has visited Italy and Iceland and of course, Jamaica. She and her family have also done extensive travel across the United States. A list of Alicia’s hobbies would not be complete without mentioning Star Trek. “Beam me up, Alicia!”

Throughout her life, Alicia has depended on Jesus to take care of her. Her favorite Bible verse is Casting all your care on Him, for he cares for you – 1 Peter 5:7. In turn she has acted out her faith by singing praises to God and taking every opportunity to follow her Savior wherever he may lead. Alicia knows that God will be there whatever happens in the future. In the words of the theme song of her favorite Disney movie:

You'll be in my heart; Yes, you'll be in my heart;
From this day on; Now and forever more,
You'll be in my heart; No matter what they say;
You'll be here in my heart always.

We praise God for your faithful service and your solid faith in God, Alicia.
