The Quiz League’s funds remain reasonably healthy with the bank balance currently standing at £315.29 compared with £345.29 at this time last year.
This despite an expenditure of £70.00 on food at the end of season quiz.
I believe that there are two subscriptions outstanding from last season which I will raise with the teams concerned, although I have been experiencing some small difficulty with the operation of the account at Lloyds Bank and it is possible that payments may not have been properly credited. It seems that Lloyds have no great interest in operating small accounts anymore and I would not be surprised if we had to make other arrangements at some time in the not too distant future.
However there would appear to be no necessity to change the team subscription this year provided income can be maintained from the two ‘fun quiz’ raffles and that there is no significant increase in the cost of questions.
