The number of user resources online is pretty much just limited by your imagination for what you can search for on the web, etc. Interpreting instructions from locations like websites and message forums can be very tedious at times however.
"User Groups" are are a great way to connect with people Face-to-Face. The leaders and experienced participants of these groups are generally enthusiastic about helping others. Finding a user group that matches the Hardware & Software that you use can be exceptionally useful.
A good sales dealer can also be a good resource. These are things you have to pay for, but if you are looking to buy a new system, you can usually get a good service agreement from the dealer you purchase your equipment from. I usually recommend a good local dealer over a national "Big-Box" store chain.
