Runs well in RAM... off a CD!
Can Boot off a USB Flash Drive too.
If your PC cannot run Slacko Puppy, then you may as well turn it in at the nearest recycling center. Most "thrift stores" like Goodwill will take them. Please DO NOT throw your PC in the trash!

Excellent lightweight Linux Distro.

The Non-PAE version is typically more stable, especially in PC's with <4GB RAM.
Best on 500MB+ RAM ... (but may work on less).
900MHz processor (P3 or AMD K7)
I particularly like this one because it easily boots off a CD, fresh from the initial ISO burn, with the Firefox Browser ready to go!
There are Other "Puppies" out there, such as Precise, Wary, Racy, Quirky, and Lucid, but I like Slacko the best so far.
