OTHER COMMITTEES

There may be other committees authorized by the Executive Board concerned with the work of the Chapter of a continuous and recurring nature, such as Library and Magazine Subscriptions.

ARTICLE V—ELECTIONS AND TERMS OF OFFICE

Section 1. NOMINATING COMMITTEE

At least two months prior to each annual election, the Executive Board shall appoint a Nominating Committee of three members, no one of whom shall be a member of the Executive Board, to nominate candidates for elective positions for the succeeding election.

Section 2 NOMINATIONS

The Nominating Committee shall prepare a slate of candidates which shall be presented at the general meeting one month prior to the election, or presented in writing to each member at least two weeks before the election. Nominations may be made from the floor at the time of the election providing the consent of each nominee has been previously obtained.

Section 3 ELECTIONS

Elections shall be held annually at the regular May business meeting of the Chapter. Voting shall be by written ballot, providing that when there is but one candidate for each office, any member may move to accept the slate as presented.

Section 4 TERMS OF OFFICE

All officers, elective and appointive, shall assume their duties after the May election. The term of office shall be for one year, and no member shall hold the same office for more than two consecutive terms.
