ARTICLE IV—DUTIES OF THE EXECUTIVE BOARD AND COMMITTEES

Section 1.

The meetings of the Executive Board shall be called by the President. The Executive Board shall carry on the business of the Chapter in conformity with the policies and programs of the Association; shall perform such duties as specified by the Chapter’s By-Laws and Constitution; shall cause the laws of the Chapter to be faithfully executed and administered; shall have control and management of all matters pertaining to disputes, discipline, funds, or properties and records of the Chapter.

Section 2. COMMITTEES

The Chairmen shall formulate plans for carrying on the work of their respective fields and shall make such reports as are requested; shall serve as channels of communication in those fields with the state and national chairmen or officers.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS

HISTORIAN

The Historian shall collect clippings and letters of interest relating to the group meetings, programs, student and teacher recognition, and social functions.

HOSPITALITY

The Hospitality Committee headed by the Vice-President shall arrange for hostesses for each meeting and give this information to the President for inclusion in the Year Book Calendar of Events; shall have name tags for all members and guests; shall bring the Membership/Guest Book to each meeting for all members and guests to sign; and arrange for the box of refreshment staples to be brought to each meeting.
