CIP Level 2

CIP Level 2 is a five day course with a practical examination on the final day. Successful completion of the CIP Level 1 course is required in order to participate in CIP Level 2. Successful completion of CIP Level 2 is required in order to participate in CIP Level 3 (the Peer Review).

In both cases 'successful completion' does not include taking the theory examination by computer-based testing, which may be achieved later, although it must be achieved prior to certification

CIP Level 2 includes many areas of specialised knowledge, and is more easily assimilated if some prior reading is done, particularly on those subject areas that are unfamiliar to the participant. All participants are provided with an electronic copy of the course manual prior to the course, and encouraged to read before the course begins. A printed copy of the manuals is provided when the course begins.
