1-1-24 Joe Shiner shot a doe doing deer drives in Caledonia. I joined Joe, Mike, and the guys. They know this land really well and killed 5 total. Joe and I were sitters on one of the drives. From a long way off I saw 3 deer running towards Joe's position. I saw the smoke from Joe's gun before I heard the report. Joe led the big one and fired. The deer hit the field and slid about 10 more feet, she was done. Nice shooting on a running deer. Great bunch of guys for sure!

11-19-23 Keith Schnetzer Shot a coyote in Scottsville, NY at DanD Land farms. Dan rans a big doe contest and he hates coyotes. Dan made a rule that any coyote you shoot gets added onto your doe weight. Keith had this one come in an a run and he picked a lane. When the dogs nose hit the far side of the lane he fired and dropped it. Nice work.

11-9-23 Bill Daly Shot a buck in Sweden, NY. It was 3pm on Thursday, a lone hot doe came in hot and stopped ate 40 yards. A few seconds later the buck followed her in and stopped behid a large group of maple trees. Bill drew back and the buck did't move untill the doe did. When the buck went to follow the doe Bill made a mouth bleat, he stopped at 30 yards, quartering away and Bill let the arrow fly. The arrow passed through the buck and he ran 20 yards and fell over. Looks like he followed the script. Nice work Bill! This buck measures 126.53"

11-4-23 Mike Clark Shot a great buck in Chili, NY at DanD Land. Mike and I were hunting together and we both saw a lot of deer. Mike had dee grunting and chasing around him all morning. Things slowed down a little and we texted about quitting at 1pm. At 12:45 mike saw a doe come out of the woods and saw this big buck behind her. Mike got the crossbow up on the shooting house window sill. The doe entered the food plot and Mike waited to see the buck. Finally the buck entered the plot and gave Mike a clear 35 yard shot. He let the bolt fly and hit the buck in the 10 ring, heat shot! When he told me I could not believe it. I packed up quick and went to pick him up. We backed out to give the buck some time just incase and our buddy Steve Gianneto was up at the barn. Gio jumped in the side by side with us and we went to blood trail him. The buck was pumping blood with every bound. He was piled up just 25 yards in the woods. Nice work Mike and I was glad to be there with you. This buck measures 130.8"
11-3-23 Joe Shiner Shot a doe in Chili, NY.
Joe hit this doe perfectly and she did not go far. Nice work Joe.
11-1-23 Van Tamoutselis Shot a buck in Scotsville, NY. Here is Van's story,
I Headed out to the woods just after 4pm. 20 yards from my stand I see a wide 7 pushing around a doe about 70 yards from me....I'm stuck for 20mins. Not sure what to do. End up backing up and going to a different stand in the corner edge of the swamp. 4:55 I text my buddy Marcus Baliva that I felt like I made a mistake choosing this spot and wish I was able to get into my original stand. 15 min later I see the buck in the thick woods/brush behind me. He makes his way NW and enters the swamp. I've got my bow in one hand, and grunting at him, doesn't seem to phase him. I loose him in the swamp. Still holding the bow my black racks were on my bag I pick up one side and rattle as best as I could lightly. A min later I see him coming out of the swamp behind me not sure if this was his natural route or if it had anything to do w my rattle or grunt. As soon as he gets behind a large oak tree I draw the bow back. He takes 3-4 steps out past the tree, something gets his attention and he's looking in my direction, I let go. Not sure where my arrow hit he runs off about 50 yards and falls over. Now my whole body is shaking and my legs are jello. Just in shock. I sit down to contemplate what just happened. Was this the buck I've seen around. The one we called Sebastian for his front claws from the little mermaid. Sure enough it was.
Awesome Buck Van! I had the pleasure of measuring his gross at 153.25"
10-30-23 Joe Shiner shot a buck in Chili, NY on DanDLand. Joe went in for the evening hunt and had movement right away. He saw this buck and hit the grunt call. The buck got within 35 yards and Joe made a perfect shot. He was petty sure he saw the buck go down about 80 yards away then he saw a different buck hitting it with its antlers it while it was down. I was in the car on my way home from work and he gave me a call and waited for me to get there. I bought the machine out and we recovered him. Joe had to be carful gutting him as the arrow was lodged in his chest cavity. This buck measures 112.25".
10-27-23 Dan D'Ettorre shot a buck in Chili, NY on DanDLand. Dan runs Reveal Tactacam cameras and ropes with Buck Fever synthetics. Dan was away in Vegas for a work trip and this buck came in on 10/23, 24 and 25, twice during daylight. Dan was drooling when he got home on the 26th and caught him in the daylight again on 10/27. Dan's had trouble ranging him correctly and his shot placement was low. Dan watched him run off with a volleyball size sack of intestine and guts hanging out. I was hunting there that night with our buddy Keith Schnetzer. We did the right thing and backed out. We did not go in the woods at all as we did not want to push him. Dan Called Bob Yax for his advice and Bob liked what he heard and felt good about recovering this buck. Bob said he would come out the next day with his amazing tracking dog Thor at 5pm, nearly 24 hours after the shot. They got on the trail while Keith and I were in stands, about an hour later I heard Thor barking and I got the text hat they found the buck. We switched from hunting mode to recovery mode and got the buck out. The buck died in the swamp and Dan had to wade in to get him. We got the buck caped out and quartered up and put some backstrap on the grill. Nice work all! This Buck measures 124.25".
10-26-23 Joe Innes shot a buck in Holley, NY. Joe did a rattle/grunt session and this buck came out of the bedding area ready for a fight. Joe hit him perfectly and he didn't go far. Nice work Joe! This Buck measures

I was with Mark Shiner a Mark went to help the. After a long track across a few properties they found the buck and everyone was thrilled. he hit the liver and one lung. Nice work Dave and crew. The deer measures around 100"
September 2023 Jeff Ames and Mike Leach went to Alaska. On this hunt they were after, Moose, Caribiou, Brown Bear and Wolves. Here is the story.
Jeff and Mike did a 14 day Moose, grizzly, caribou combo in Alaska. Day 1 Mike got on a 7ft grizzly and almost closed the deal after a 10 mile round trip. After a few more days of hiking and glassing we spotted a nice caribou coming off the mountain and we made a 2 mile stalk on him and closed the deal with a 220yd shot. A couple days later Mike almost closed the deal on a 60in bull moose coming back to camp one evening. The bull was at 330yds but the shot was very tight and the guide held him off. 2 days later we spotted some nice bull caribou cross valley and Mike decided to go after them. We found the bigger bull bedded with his cows and Mike knocked him down at 300yds. We put on 30 miles in 2 days to kill and pack out the caribou. In the last few days Jeff decided to hunt a low ridge in Moose County and shortly after setting up to glass, the guide spotted a moose bedded a mile from them. We snuck in within 300yds and waited for him to stand up to make the shot. We hiked and packed over 100 miles in 12 days and had 5 chances on 6 tags. What an adventure it was.
