My Co-Worker and Friend Sean Callaghan Nailed this Big Boy this archery season. I measured him at 161" no deductions. Check out these photos

The Boys at Votypka Farms in Springwater had a good year. They have been practicing QDM for many years now and it is really paying off. I dont have a lot of stories on these hunts but check out the photos. A couple of the Votypka farms guys have been or are in our annual contest.

Mike Guzik killed a buck, Great Story.... Mike gets in the stand on opening day and realizes he has to take a crap. It is just after light and he decides he has to get down and find a tree to lean on. as he is about to get down from his two man ladder stand he sees the medium size cooler he bought with him into the stand. Inside the cooler he has paper towels and his lunch. He empties the cooler, sheds his cloths, drops his coveralls, sits on the cooler and relives himself in the stand! While he is taking care of business he sees a large deer off in the distance. Mike has time to finish the task at hand, get dressed and grab his gun. Mike had to wait about 30 minutes for a nice buck to step into a lane and he shot once and the deer did not go down, he missed him clean. A second buck stepped into the same lane and Mike dropped him with one shot. If Mike never brought that cooler in the stand that morning he would of never seen them deer as he would of been on the ground crapping. Nice job Mike and way to be prepared! Mike's buddy Deny also shot a buck that opening day.

Mark Shiner Killed a Doe on opening weekend of gun in Cuba NY my son David got to help him pull it out of the woods.

Thursday 11-13-11 Tommy Reina shot a great buck on the Hill in Honeoye. Tommy hasn't seen much this year. Today he looked behind his stand and saw this buck headed up the hill. He had to draw his bow and shoot between a small V in the tree. He made a perfect shot on this buck and he didn't go far. I measured this buck today and he measures 98" so Angelo still has the lead.

Tuesday 11-1-11 Joe Shiner shot a big doe in Lancaster.

Tuesday 11-1-11 John Sweeney killed a 6 pointer in Fairport. 12 yard shot with his longbow with a Rage broadhead. He went about 100 yds. Nice Shooting!

Saturday 10-29-11 Angelo Infantino shot a nice buck on his land in Wyoming, NY. Great Hunt! Angelo has been seeing chasing for the past week or two. Saturday morning he saw a buck chasing a few doe around 8:30am then saw them again at 9:15. It was a doe and two fawn with this buck chasing them. The doe and fawns ran under his tree stand and the buck went around and was standing 15 yards away from him. Angelo had no shot but he could see his rack. Angelo stod up and the doe busted him. He came to full draw and the doe started stomping her foot. The buck needed to take two more steps to expose his chest. The buck took one step and looked at Angelo, the doe took a bound and the buck took one more step and Angelo let the arrow fly. He hit the buck right behind the shoulder and the arrow burred in his off shoulder. The buck ran 25 yards and stood behind some brush, wobbled and fell over. Great Hunt! and nice shooting! THIS BUCK OFFICIAL MEASUREMENT is 111 INCHES and is leading our contest!!!!
