12-27-2025 Joe Shiner killed a "doe" on our land in Cuba, NY. Joe was on a one man push and I was in a stand and Mark was in a stand with his Grandson Mason. Joe was able to see this one and get into shooting range and knock it down. It turned out it was a buck that already shed its antlers. Good time at acmp as usuall.

12-16-2025 Mark Shiner got an 8 pointer when we were pushing deer with Mike Leach and his buddies in Calenonia, NY. We had a great time. 4 drives and 8 deer were killed.

12-13-2025 Joe Shiner killed a buck and Mark shiner killed a doe down at our land, 12 Point Lodge. in Cuba, NY. This is our annual "Last weekend of Muzzle loader" trip. We ate good, played cards and hunted. It was freezing cold with over a foot of snow but we had a blast.

There was 5 of us on the hill. 4 in stands and Joe did a 1 man push. We all saw deer and Joe and Mark connected. Joe saw a nice doe and got into position and get his scope on her. He was about to take the shot and he saw a buck behind her. He got his crosshairs on the buck and made a good shot and the buck dropped. Late in the drive a nice doe stopped near make and he made a good shot on her. Nice work.

12-6-2025 Rick Voigt Shot a Buck and a doe on his land in Holley, NY. at around 2:45 a couple of doe came in and one was limping pretty bad sh he took her. 5 minutes later the buck ran in and out of the food plot so Rick hit his bleat can and he came right back. He saw the dead doe and walked right over to her. He did.tmake it any father. The deer died 20' apart. This buck is very unique and Rick had been watching him on camera since August. He was able to shoot a target buck and that is rare. Nice work Rick!

12-3-2025 Mike Clark killed another big freezer queen on his family land in Nunda, NY. She ran over 100 yards missing her lungs and the top of her heart then plowed into a tree. Nice work Mike.

12-3-2025 Mike leach killed a buck in Caledonia. He was the buck following a doe in a field and he put a sneak on. He kept the wind in his face and slowly creeped in to within about 70 yards. He found the buck in his bed and had a clean shot. He made a good shot and killed him in his bed. Mike measured him in the 140's. Nice shooting Mike!

11-27-2025 Joe Shiner killed a doe at DanDland in Scottsville, NY. Joe was on the ground in the bonus and a group of 4 came in. Joe picked out the big one and made a great shot. She dropped in ther tracks. this doe and the coyote he killed puts him in the lead in our doe contest at DanDland.

11-26-2025 Rick Milham shot a big buck in Henrietta, NY. It was Wednesday before thanksgiving and the weather was terrible. Rick was talking to his taxidermist friend and the told rick to get out there because the big ones move in the weather. So Rick went out to the blind and was there about 20 minutes and he caught movement. The buck cautiously moved into the shooting lane about 60 yards away, Rick followed him with his crosshairs and squeezed off the shot. He watched the buck through his scope and the buck did not look good. He contiued to watch and he saw some comotion and it was the buck tipping over. There was no blood at the hit sight but he went to where he saw the comotion and there he was. This has been a 3 year ordeal for Rick, He has pictures and history with this buck. What a trophy! Congrats!! This buck measures 152.12"

11-23-2025 Mason Zielinski shot a doe at our land in Cuba, NY the 12 point lodge. Mason was hunting with "Pa", Mark Shiner. They had a group of 4 does come in and mason picked out a big one and shot. The deer ran by out neighbors and they said one was definitely hurt. While they were looking for blood they saw a couple of bucks and Mason almost got a shot at one. After giving the doe some time, they did recover her and Mason was able to provide a freeze queen for his family. Nice work Mason and Pa!!!

11-21-2025 Dan D'Ettorre killed a Pike County Illinois buck. Dan and Jeff Ames have a lease out there. I texted Dan, good luck on Friday, the first day of gun. Dan called me a few minutes later and told me about the deer they were seeing and that is was raining. Then dan said, Buck, Buck Buck... he put the phone in hos pocket and it heard Meahhh, POW! He got back on the phone and said I got my Pike county buck! They had this one on trail came just a day and 1/2 prior. Nice work Dan! This buck measures 145"

11-20-2025 Marcus Baliva shot a bruiser of a buck in Scottsville, NY. Marcus was on stand in the afternoon and he saw a 2.5 year old buck at about 200 yards. Marcus wanted to try his calls on him to see if he can get him to come closer. He hit his rattling antlers together and this big bruiser stepped out and started heading his way. The buck went to circle Marcus out of site. Marcus hit the grunt tube and the buck started crossing the field and stopped at a little over 100 yards and Marcus fired. He saw the buck run off and drop into a swale but he did not see him come out. Marcus got the crew, his wife Carrie, son Dominic and his buddy Val. They got to tracking and it was not easy. They got to a spot and saw blood on both sides of the weeds. They found the buck soon after. Nice work and awesome trophy! This buck measures 147.24"

11-20-2025 Me, Dave D'Ettorre shot a doe at my brothers place, DanDland in Scottsville, NY. I was in the barn blind and I had all kinds of actions. This doe came out with 2 fawns and when she got close enough, I nailed her. Took out the tip of her heart. This is the first doe entered in the doe contest we have at DanDland. She weighs 107lbs.

11-16-2025 Joe DiPaola shot a big 11 pointer in Sweden, NY. Joe hit this same deer with a broadhead in the shoulder during the bow season. I will put up the full story once I have it. Stud of a buck Joe, congrats! This Buck measures 156.12"

11-15-2025 Mike Clark shot a big doe on his family land in Nunda. Nice Freezer Queen!

11-15-2025 Mason Zielinski shot his first deer in Cuba, NY at our place, 12 point Lodge. 4 does came in at last light and Mason made a good shot on the biggest one. They had no blood and no light left so Mark and Mason went back in the morning and they found her. The coyotes got to her over night too. Nice shooting Mason!

11-10-2025 Joe Shiner shot a doe in Churchville, NY. He had deer moving around him all moring. This doe was one of the bigger ones in the group. He had a small window to shoot through at 40 yards. Joe mad a great shot and she did not go far. #3 for the year. nice work Joe.

11-7-2025 Steve Ames Jr. Shot a great buck in Penfield, NY. Steve's friend does not hunt but lives on the property. His friend had been telling him about this big buck and on Friday he said he saw the buck with a doe. Steve got to the land for the last couple hours of the day. It was rainy and windy Steve was able to creep in and he saw the buck with the doe. He slowly stalked into within 8 yards of the buck in his bed, finally the buck looked at Steve and stood up. Steve let the bolt fly and hit the buck perfectly. Great story and great Buck! Nice work. Thgis buck measures 146.36"

11-4-2025 Carrie Baliva shot a doe in Scottsville, NY with her vertical bow at 35 yards. Nice shooting Carrie!

11-2-2025 Patrick Duggan shot an 8 pointer at his farm in Naples, NY. Pat got a bit of a late start and when he was letting the dog out he saw this buck in the neighbors field. The deer started moving onto his property. Pat got dressed quick and got in a stand on his food plot. About 10 minets later the buck came into the food plot and Pat made a perfect shot and he oly went about 30 yards. Nice work Pat.

11-4-2025 Joe Shiner shot a buck in East Otto NY. He was on the ground and he saw a bigger buck chasing some does way out of range. He looked up and this buck was running in and stopped 2 yards away from him. Joe of the crossbow 1/2 way up and took a shot without looking through the scope and hit him in the spine then finished him off. Crazy story and action shooting. Nice work Joe!

10-26-2025 Tom Reina shot a nice 11 pointer on a small piece of land in Sodus, NY. Tom had pictures of this deer. When he was packing up at the end the evening he caught movement. He saw the deer coming up to a lane and he leveled the crossbow. When the deer stopped at about 35 yards tom let it rip. He made a great shot and heard the deer crash and expire. This buck measures 121.5". Nice buck Tommy.

10-23-2025 Mark Shiner shot a unique buck on our land in Cuba, NY. Mark was in his perminent stand and the buck was coming through the woods below him. He saw he had 5 points on one side and decided to shoot. Mark made a good shot and after a short time on the trail he really started bleeding. Nice shooting.

10-18-2025 Scott Philp shot a +/- 120" 9 pointer. The buck came in the buck came in to +/- 6' and Scott could not resist. Cool buck. congrats!

10-10-2025 David J. D'Ettorre Shot a buck at Dandland in Scottsville. The buck came in and David wasn't sure if he was going to shoot it. When it gave him a clear shot he let the bolt fly. He hit the buck perfectly and he didn't go far. Uncle Dan and Shay helped him get it out and Mike Clark helped him get it quartered and in the fridge. I was down at camp, unfortunately I missed the celebration of David's first buck. Nice work son!

10-10-2025 Joe Shiner liked a doe at our place in Cuba, NY. She came in with her fawn and joe made an excellent shot. Joes wife, son and daughter came down the help him track and Collette was the one to find her. Nice work fam!

10-9-2025 Steve Ames killed a buck in Springwater, here is the story Steve sent me.

Took advantage of the first cold front. Sat in a shooting house on a food plot we call the Salad Bar. Had some does come out early and 2.5 year old 6 pt. Around 6pm out comes a group of 5 bucks, and one of them was a shooter we call Niner. I waited about 10 min to verify it was Niner, there also was a nice 10 pt but he looked he was a 3.5 yr old( we try and only take 4.5 yr & older). I ranged him at 53 yards, and took the shot. Based on the blood it looked like a liver shoot so I backed out for a couple of hours. My son & grandson helped me in the tracking. Lots of blood for about 500 yards until we found him. Thank goodness for my son Jeff who did most of the dragging, took us almost 2 hours to get him out. Based on all the Coyotes screaming it seemed like it was a race on who could find him first. This buck measures 123".
