  For class 4 STEM, we discussed how to create a Youtube Channel. Students will be creating their respective logos and banners on Friday 7 July and Monday 10 July.Will be uploading them hopefully by Monday 10 July.




: Description :

This week, students introduced themselves to each other and got to know one another. We organized them into different classes, the CLS class and the regular class. We have been watching and learning from various YouTube channels covering different niches. The students learned about niches and chose one for their own channels. Additionally, they learned how to write scripts to introduce their channels. Finally, the students were divided into groups and shared their channel introductions.

: Description :

          Students learn independently better through the use of technology. They can research the subjects that interest them once they understand how to properly utilize digital information sources. This week, students learned to take different  camera shots and angles to be used in filming. 

They have started to practice recording and editing some of the videos they have taken. Students also try to do voice over.

To improve their speaking and dare to present confidently, all students practice wai and writing self-introductions in addition to self-introduction.











: Description :

For class 4 English, the students will be working on a template to create scripts for a short video and a long video.  The Short video will be between 30 seconds to 1 minute long and the Long video will be between 1:30 - 2 minutes long.  Using a graphic organizer, students can help organize their thoughts into meaningful script in which they can use it for their videos.

One of the most basic and essential video editing features is the ability to trim and cut your clips. By self-editing, students catch simple errors. It also helps students become more accountable for their work and can improve the outcome of the finished product. This week, Class 4 already filmed their video in the green room and started to explore editing tools.

Everyone intends to create a story that piques their interest by creating a diagram of the subject, compiling and writing the screenplay into the worksheet, and then presenting the finished product.

The students in Class 4 English class worked hard to create their scripts for short and long videos.  We used graphic organizers and "general to specific" reasoning to help students come up with a focused script on the topic or topics they wish to write about.  Ultimately, the students worked magnificently and their scripts were very well prepared.

This week the students are taught on reading and using social media analytics to increase their social media presence. They are also taught on how to stay safe on the internet and use copyright materials accordingly.

Description:

Having good editing skills in both photo and video can help you become a compelling storyteller on social media, which, believe it or not, also positively influences people watching your video. For the final week of the camp, student were able to create their own video content for their social media accounts. Editing skills are key to helping students not only become better writers but stronger students in all subjects. Editing skills can even boost learning confidence!

This week's focus is on evaluating presentations, practicing planning and sequencing, choosing subjects by creating a diagram of what makes one stand out to the class, and applying newly learned skills to writing essays or other written assignments. producing a narrative that appropriately relates to the topic at hand.
