Week 1

Week 1 was full of fun and excitement. Students were able to meet their teachers and classmates. They were introduced to the world of famous kid influencers. They were taught on how to introduce themselves and find their own niche as future influencers.

In this week ,all the related pupils have learned how to introduce themselves based on the Mandarin structure provided.

And how can they express interest which they want to do in their channel appropriately.

We inspired the kids Chinese based on activities including handcraft.They can understand elementary Chinese related to their channels.

Kids in 1 and 2 are learning with the equipment we use for video recording and its purpose. They experience what it will look like when working in a media platform world and things to do and not to do while recording videos and voice-overs.

On the first day of summer school, students learned to get to know each other.  They learned how to write some scripts about themselves and introduce themselves to others. For example, they can tell what they like to do, what ability they can do very well, what they are proud of themselves the most.  They can write or draw depending on their age/writing’s abilities.

This week, class 1 shared their favorite or mostly used social media platforms and the reason behind it followed by introducing the different kinds of Social Media Platforms; how it works, how they differ from each other, which platform best suits their age and the two sides of using social media. They have also learned the basic step by step of creating a Youtube Channel and its different parts/sections such as Channel name, Channel Banner and Logo. They also had their first hands-on experience using chromebooks to access Canva and turn their personalized Logo ideas into life.

Week 2

In our English classes this week, we had a great time learning and doing something special! We made videos for YouTube to help us with our English. We learned about different things and found out lots of interesting facts. We also learned how to plan our videos so they would be fun and easy to watch. We made sure our videos had a good order and told a cool story. 

In this exciting AV lesson, we dive into the world of Green Screen Studio technology and explore its transformative impact on audiovisual productions. Join us as we unravel the magic behind green screens, chroma keying, and the creative possibilities they unlock.

This week students had created their own storyboards. They loved to share their ideas with friends and also enjoyed practising presenting their own theme.

Week 3

This week Class 1 was hands on doing Youtube Thumbnail on their own with accordance to the topic they have agreed to do. They also have learnt about Social Media Analytics, Internet Safety and Copyright that is relevant when owning or when planning to make a Youtube Channel
