Curriculum Frameworks
The SOL Curriculum Frameworks serve as the basis of the Shenandoah County Public Schools curricula. SCPS teachers have enhanced the Curriculum Frameworks by highlighting or adding charts to designate the content/skills, the context in which the content/skill is to be taught, and the cognitive level (Bloom's Level) for each SOL. An additional chart, which can be found beneath each SOL, includes: best assessment design, most appropriate instructional strategies, potential instructional activities, and resources.
These curriculum frameworks are based on the 2015 History & Social Science SOLs.
