"I truly believe that this is the best placement [programme] that I have seen. From start to finish there was so much support, even in making the application form detailed but accessible for people to complete. The pre-internship workshops helped me fully prepare for the work and also get to know other students, which gave me a great foundation. At this stage, they offered to share my learning support plan with the internship host, which meant I could relax into the work instead of worrying about potential support I would need. The internship gave me opportunities that I would never had had, such as being on the radio, interviewing people who's stories need to be told, and getting to explore a new part of the city. The symposium that was held at the end of the internship was a great way to reflect on the experience and see other peoples opinion on placemaking and knowledge exchange. The whole team involved in the process were fantastic but Linnea and Zelda were especially fantastic. They would go above and beyond for every single person involved in the internship, because of this we felt like one big TAP community. I believe this TAP placement [programme] is a asset to the University."
