Transforming and Activating Places (TAP)
This website is an archive!
Transforming and Activating Places (TAP) was a student knowledge exchange project running from 2020 to 2023 at the University of Sheffield which created placemaking internships for over 200 students with 80 different local and national partners. The project provided a huge array of opportunities for Arts and Humanities and Social Sciences students from widening participation backgrounds with a myriad of partners, from freelancers to grassroots community organisations.
Our students received support from the point of submitting their application to reflecting on their internship, with access to pre- and post-internship programmes to book-end their placements.
This website is an archive of the past three years of award-winning work on the TAP programme.
