There may be times when you are struggling to cope with the demands of your course, a work-study imbalance or you may be suffering from an illness or other personal problem.
The University has many different support systems in place to help you through your time with us and the links on the right should be visited should you feel the need for some extra support.
Remember, in the first instance you can also speak in confidence to your personal tutor who is also there to help you throughout your time with us.
University Counselling Service - For when you feel you wish to speak to someone outside the department.
Student Advice Centre - If you have problems concerning money, rights and welfare or housing.
Personal Harrassment Network - Personal harassment is defined as any behaviour that is unacceptable to the recipient and which creates an intimidating, hostile or offensive environment. Specialist University advisors are available through the Harassment and Bullying Support Network.
Report & Support - The University of Sheffield doesn't stand for any form of discrimination or abuse. If you or someone else who is a member of staff, student, or visitor, experience any form of discrimination such as harassment, abuse, bullying, or sexual violence that may be based on race, gender, sexuality, disability or other characteristics, then you can use this site to report your concerns and access support.
