Social Events for PGR Students

The Social Officers of the Engineering PGR Committee are dedicated to creating fun and engaging events that bring our PGR community together. Our goal is to foster a sense of camaraderie and help students unwind from the demands of research by organising a variety of social activities throughout the year.

We’ve already hosted successful events, including:

BBQ/Picnic & games: A casual outdoor gathering with food, fun games, and great company.
Switch & Board Games Night: A relaxed evening of gaming, perfect for unwinding and connecting with peers.
Sports Day: A day of friendly competition, with sports and activities to suit all fitness levels.

These events have seen amazing participation and received excellent feedback from attendees. We’re always looking for new ideas, so if you have suggestions or want to help with planning future social events, feel free to reach out to us.
