 The purpose of this website is to supply you with some useful information in advance and during your first weeks at the School of English.  

The website is divided into subjects to ensure you are given the most relevant information for the programme you are studying. 

Here you will find subject specific reading lists, module choice information and induction tasks.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly, stimulating, and approachable School.  

Therefore, you will always be welcome to discuss anything with academic staff.

Timetables

Your timetable for semester one will be created for you for the start of teaching and will be available via isheffield*.

iSheffield is the University's mobile app for Sheffield students. It features campus maps, library reading lists and personalised information for your course.
