To help us maintain an accurate and up to date DClinPsy curriculum, we ask that speakers share details about their sessions and keep us informed about any changes leading up to its delivery. We’ve outlined some key steps below:
Keeping the Curriculum Up-to-Date: Key Steps for You
Check the 'DClinPsy Curriculum' webpages for your teaching session, including date/time, speaker names, and titles.
Send any session outlines, readings, and learning outcomes once confirmed, and inform us of any necessary updates. These will be shared with trainees.
Include your learning outcomes in your presentation and/or handouts.
Notify the Specialism Lead and/or Admin about any discrepancies you find in the curriculum.
Let us know if you can't view the web pages so we can send you a copy.
Review the 'Curriculum Labels' document for themes, models and cross-specialisms for each session, and inform us of any queries or changes needed. Note: You can use the 'Curriculum Labels' document to help plan your teaching.
Find relevant contacts:
Check the 'Curriculum Specialism' listing.
Contact Admin (dclinpsy@sheffield.ac.uk) to be put in touch with the specialism lead or other speakers in your area.
Please send the content for your session, including any slide decks, to the relevant Specialism Lead (e.g., the DClinPsy staff member you’ve been corresponding with) and our admin CC’d in (dclinpsy@sheffield.ac.uk).
Presentations cannot be uploaded as PDFs so please send files in their electronic presentation format (e.g., PowerPoint (.pptx)). Learners can download a PDF version of the file using Blackboard Ally, or exporting from the original file
Do you want to remove your speaker notes from the presentation quickly?
Create a copy of the document/presentation (e.g., ‘File > Save As’; Copy+Paste )
In the new document: Go to: File > Info > Inspect Presentation > Check for issues > Inspect document > (scroll to the bottom of the 'document inspector' pop up) > Inspect > (under the item 'presentation notes)' & select 'Remove All' > Close
Now you have a version with no notes.
For any queries regarding fees or expenses, and/or requesting an Expense Claim Form, please contact our admin team: dclinpsy@sheffield.ac.uk.
When submitting expenses, please ensure you include copies of all relevant receipts.
If you anticipate claiming a fee for your teaching, please notify the Specialism Lead and/or admin team (dclinpsy@sheffield.ac.uk) at least one month in advance. This advance notice is essential due to University policy for registering claims.
Please note that fee payments cannot be requested retrospectively due to employment law requirements, which necessitate a right-to-work check for all paid individuals.
