Registers & Attendance
Registration: For the start of each session (a.m. & p.m.), trainees are asked to log an online register confirming their attendance. We ask speakers to display a registration code within the first 15 minutes of the teaching starting. The code can be displayed on a whiteboard, flipchart, or via the screen projector (e.g., Word doc showing the code).
The code is generated via the University’s central system, iSheffield (Links to Attendance Monitoring platform). Our Specialism Lead and/or Admin staff will support generating these codes.
Trainees experiencing issues logging their attendance?
It is possible to add them manually before/during the session via iSheffield.
Example Code:
NW-YE-DG
Registration Icon via iSheffield App
Expectations: Our trainees will be invited top develop and sign up to a Charter for Participation on the programme which specifies commitments and responsibilities to engaging and involvement in teaching.
Clinical formulations are central to trainee’s clinical work, helping bridge theory and practice. We ask that all teaching staff consider formulation within their respective sessions.
The Sheffield programme delivers several sessions on the fundamental principles of clinical formulation to trainees at the start and throughout training.
Automated links for feedback are sent to trainees and speakers towards the end of a session. Allowing 5-minutes at the end of the session to complete the feedback can increase response rates. The link for trainee feedback is also accessible via the URL and QR code below in case you want to include in your presentation or there are issues accessing. These are set at the start of the academic year and routinely reviewed but it's possible links are sent in error and if so, please let us know and we'll rectify.
