Professional Recognition

The Postgraduate Certificate Med Ed has been accredited by AoME at the Accreditation Plus level.  This means that individuals completing your course successfully will be eligible to apply for full membership of the Academy of Medical Educators without providing further evidence.  To do this, they will need to complete the online application form which is found here: https://medicaleducators.org/apply-for-recognition .  You will need to insert the name of the course in the ‘reflection on professional values’ box, upload their course certificate and complete contact/professional details.  Full guidance is available on our website https://www.medicaleducators.org/Guidance-for-Applicants-Referees-and-Reviewers

Additionally, we are pleased to offer 12 months free Associate Membership of AoME to your students whilst they are undertaking their course.  To take up this offer, please provide your students with your course-specific code ‘UoSPGCertMedEd'.  They will need to register on our website and complete their personal details on the Associate membership form.  Entering the code in the promo box on the final page will ensure they are not charged.   I have attached a flyer with further information which you are welcome to share with your students.
