Once submitted, your work will be allocated to one of the module team for grading and feedback. The marking process in its entirety takes approximately four weeks. Allocation of work is random and all work is blind marked, which means the tutor does not know whose work they are marking.
Use the navigation bar at the top of any Blackboard Ultra course to access the Gradebook.
Select the Gradebook tab in Module space in Blackboard on the course’s navigation bar at the top of the course.
Select the assignment title in the list.
Select Launch.
Select your Paper Title.
Your paper will open in Feedback Studio.
The 0 or 100 you see is not a grade. This is means of showing your work has been marked.
PLEASE NOTE: Please click on the Rubric Grid shown on the right to view the feedback from your assignment submission.
Feedback is is given for each learning outcome. Scroll down the feedback boxes to see each of the learning outcomes and at the bottom you will see a Pass/Refer box, which will provide your overall mark for the submission.
If your work is referred you will be given the opportunity to amend and resubmit. You have one resubmission per module only.
If your work is referred you will be notified as soon as feedback is released with instructions on what you need to do and resubmission information. Please note, the external examiner sees all work that has been resubmitted or moderated.
You cannot appeal against a grade you have been given because you believe it deserved better. However, if you feel there has been an administrative error or you think the university’s regulations have not been followed you should raise your concerns with the Programme Director.
