Shawnee Band Boosters

The Shawnee Band Booster Organization is a non-profit organization primarily supported by Shawnee Band parents. Funds raised by the organization go to directly support the band's activities. Our primary objective is to provide our students with the best possible band experience. Throughout the course of the year, the Shawnee Bands perform at numerous marching and concert contests around the state of Oklahoma. In order for the band to participate in these events, your support is necessary.


To minimize fundraising activities for that support, band parents pay an annual student activity fee of $175.00. (Families with multiple students will pay $175.00 for the first student, and $125.00 for any additional student(s) in the family). These fees are made payable to Shawnee Band Boosters. Some of the items covered by this student activity fee are: new marching shoes, gloves, hats & polo shirts for incoming freshman and new students, various Color Guard accessories, marching show copyright fees, marching show music fees, marching season drum line and Color Guard clinicians, insurance costs and more.


Shawnee Band Booster Organization Meetings

Regular Booster Meetings are usually held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Shawnee High School Band Room. These meetings are open to everyone and typically last 1 hour. We encourage all parents to attend these meetings as they relate to upcoming performances and events.
