HS Jazz Band

The Shawnee High School Jazz Band is a specialized, touring performance ensemble in which students develop and perform a variety of works in the jazz idiom. Numerous styles are studied and instruction in improvisation is introduced. This year, the Jazz Band is an extra-curricular activity outside of the school day. Students will have the opportunity to play multiple times a year within the Shawnee community and abroad!
