Wind Ensemble

Our Concert Bands are the core of the Shawnee Band Program and the foundation upon which all other band activities are built. Concert Band is where students learn the most fundamental parts of performing instrumental music.

The Wind Ensemble at Shawnee High School is the highest performing ensemble in the Shawnee Band Program and is directed by Mr. Christopher Hall. The Wind Ensemble performs higher level wind literature and continues the development of refined, professional skills. The Wind Ensemble is comprised of students from the 9th-12th Grade and will perform multiple concerts a year and participate in OSSAA band contests and outside musical opportunities when they present themselves.
