All members of StuCo eventually move on, and we hope that they will take the skills, memories, and impact that StuCo had on them into their future endeavors. Even as they transition to high school, college, and beyond, all former SMS StuCo members have left their influence on our club. Below, you can learn about some of these alumni, our "Hall of Famers"!
Ori is a member of the Class of 2026 at Sharon High School. In his free time he likes playing music, playing football, and talking to his friends. Ori was on Stuco for 2 years. He represented 6C when he was in 6th grade and became an officer in his 8th-grade year. Being on Student Council was the highlight of Ori's middle school experience. He will never forget the great memories that he has made with all of his friends on Stuco and the bond formed between them. The skills that he has acquired from Stuco will stay with him for the rest of his life. He hopes that if you are reading this you are having an extremely poggers year!
Emma is a member of the Class of 2026 at Sharon High School. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hanging out with her friends, baking, running, playing cello, and listening to music. She was on Student Council for 2 years and was an Officer in 8th grade. She learned so much from both her path to Student Council and the challenges she faced throughout her time in StuCo, which helped to shape her into the person she is today. StuCo gave her the opportunity to not just create events and initiatives that could put smiles on other students' faces, but more importantly, StuCo was her second family, a home where she could escape from all her troubles, have fun, be goofy, and be herself. She hopes that she can use her StuCo experience not just in future leadership settings, but also to help others and take initiative in any other way.
Jayani is a member of the Class of 2026 at Sharon High School. Her hobbies include watching Netflix, listening to music, playing music, helping the environment, sleeping, and chilling with her former StuCo officers. Jayani was on StuCo for all three years of her middle school experience. She was a rep for her first two years and an officer for her final year. She will always cherish the time she spent on the SMS StuCo. She had a great time planning/helping out with events while also getting to hang out with her fellow Student Council members:) Jayani will never forget all that she has learned from joining StuCo and the memories she has made as well.
Amulya is a member of the Class of 2026 at Sharon High School. She loves basketball, robotics, doing community outreach, music, spending time with her friends, and making people laugh. She was on Student Council for all three years of middle school, and was the StuCo Mentor in 8th grade. Being on Student Council meant so much to Amulya, and she's so grateful for the time she spent there, the memories she made, and everything she learned. She met so many new people, some of whom are now some of her best friends. She hopes to always be looked at as a role model by others, and will use what she learned from StuCo to one day make an impact on the world.
Eli is is a member of the Class of 2026 at Sharon High School. He is on the football team, likes to listen to music, hang out with his friends and play sports. StuCo has impacted Eli in a number of ways:
by teaching him skills of how to advertise and run events
how to handle being outside of his comfort zone while doing the morning announcements
by helping him make new friends
Eli made the most of his 8th grade year at SMS by joining StuCo as a Team Rep, working hard and volunteering for everything he could to help make a difference, and by helping to make others smile with his unique sense of humor.
Hanna (or Hayden) Bielawa was part of StuCo for all 3 years of middle school. They were the 6E team rep (when 6E still existed), the 7A team rep, and finally co-chair (when that position still existed too). They’ve been on StuCo since Mr. Marrone started so they’re pretty much ancient. Literally every event that’s been a StuCo staple Hayden was there for the beginning of it. StuCo was when Hayden considered they peaked. In StuCo they were known for being loud, hungry, parenting the team reps, and for doing the dirty work nobody wanted to do during events (yes they spent all of the 6th grade dance mopping up water on the floor). StuCo was some of the most fun Hayden’s ever had and they wish they could repeat it all over again. They are currently a freshman at Boston University studying Advertising and Deaf Studies. They miss StuCo and Mr. Marrone, and Chandreyi is awesome.
Annika Amrhein, a member of the class of 2024, served her peers in middle school as a 6D Representative and as a StuCo Officer the following two years. Student Council in Middle School has been a formative part of who she is, teaching her that she could turn possibilities for positive change into a reality. She believes that when we believe in our power to inspire happiness by working together, we are at our best. Student Council has been an illuminating path, leading Annika towards finding fulfillment by teaching her to be active, stepping up to build her community. Currently, she’s a passionate part of Student Government in high school, and she has founded the Young Women’s Leadership Initiative (Y We LeaD), a group of students that inspire each other to be strong voices of change within their communities and work together to develop leadership skills. Student Council was the best part of her day in middle school, and she encourages anyone interested in joining to carry the torch and experience the excitement she did.
Neil is a member of the Class of 2027 at Sharon High School. He was on Student Council for all 3 years of his middle school experience. He was a leader and always loved being part of any initiative to help provide a positive learning experience and create enjoyable memories for all of his peers. He loved attending Student Council meetings and conducting different events as he always knew he would have an incredible and unforgettable time. Furthermore, the camaraderie, friendships, memories, sense of belonging, and experiences that come along with Student Council will always have a special place in his heart. Neil is grateful for having Mr. Marrone as a mentor as Mr. Marrone has instilled a lot of important values in him and he loved the enthusiastic and collaborative atmosphere Mr. Marrone created for Student Council. In his free time, Neil loves to play football, tennis, and swim. Neil also loves to play video games, watch different sports games, spend time with family and friends, and travel globally. Neil hopes to continue his passion for leadership and community outreach which he has cultivated under the guidance of Mr. Marrone in the Student Council into the future.
