Officers

Who are Officers, anyway? Glad you asked! StuCo Officers are the leaders of the Student Council. They have additional responsibilities, meet as a group once a week (in addition to the regular StuCo meetings), and serve as the chairpeople for each and every event or initiative that we provide. They are either appointed or elected at the end of every school year through a very competitive process, and they work tirelessly to make sure that StuCo can help every SMS student to have a more enjoyable school experience.

Meet Your 2026-2027 StuCo Officers!

Max Feldman

Max is a 7th grader at SMS. This is his first year on StuCo and he is also a public relations officer. He enjoys playing soccer, basketball, collecting sports cards, biking, running and hanging out with friends and family. He is excited to be on StuCo and wants to make the school a better place.

Ayaan Ali

Ayaan is an eighth grader. This is his third year on StuCo, and first year he serves as a Public Relations Officer. His hobbies include painting, drawing, playing video games, baking, hiking, reading, hanging out with friends, and biking. He is eager for what is to come and hopes this year will be the most memorable!!!

Sanjeev Sanooj

Sanjeev is a seventh grader. This is his first year on StuCo, and he serves as an officer, specifically, a co-chair. He spends his free time playing soccer, rock climbing, and attempting to cook. He is grateful to be a part of StuCo and looks forward to planning awesome events and making SMS much more enjoyable.

Max Blumen

Max is an eighth grader. This is his third year on StuCo, and second year as an officer. This year he is a Co-Chair. His hobbies are art, playing tennis, practicing guitar, and running. He is hoping that this year will be the best one yet!

Roshini David

Roshini is an eighth grader. This is her third year on Student Council and her second year as a StuCo Officer. Her interests include reading, baking, running, and hanging out with her family and friends. She is excited to have an amazing school year!

Vera Flieger

Vera is an eighth grader. This is her third year on Student Council and her first year as a StuCo Officer. This year she is a Co-Chair. Her hobbies are gymnastics, dance, soccer, basketball, baking, hanging out with friends and family, and art. She is excited for this school year and knows it will be amazing!

Lisa Baram

Lisa is a eighth grader. This is her third year on Student Council and her second year as an officer. Her hobbies are Rhythmic gymnastics, baking, hanging out with friends and also her dog Cooper. She is super exited to see what this year holds.

Lucas Weiner

Lucas is a seventh grader. This is his first year on Student Council and he is a Public Relations Officer. His hobbies are Baseball, Basketball, and hanging out with friends and family. He is very excited to see what this year holds.

Aarya Shah

Aarya is a seventh grader. This is her second year on Student Council, and she is a Co-Chair this year. Her hobbies include dancing, biking, reading, writing, and spending time with family and friends. Aarya is also a black belt in taekwondo. She is excited to be part of StuCo and can't wait to see what the year brings!

Minna Brandell

Minna is a seventh grader. This is her second year on StuCo and her first year as an officer. Minna is a StuCo mentor. Minna enjoys Acting in musicals, Piano, Dance, Singing and many other things! She is so excited for this year, and can't wait to see what's in store.
