Hello! My name is Brandon Hare; I teach A.P. Human Geography at Viera High School. This is my sixth year teaching and my third year at Viera High School. My passion for history started at a young age; my grandfather used to read books about the Vietnam War to me and place his experiences in the larger story of the war. I modeled my teaching style after my favorite history teacher, Mr. Salamone, who would push us on the "Why" to have us dig deeper into our reasoning. My goal in teaching Human Geo is for students to understand the "Why" with support from our primary and secondary sources. Students learn to apply class content to real-world problems, creating connections to our world. Outside of school, you will find me hiking or watching UF sports.
