FunToM3ntals Math Camp
This 1-week program is designed to re-educate students' minds in mathematics and math language. Camp will push students to dive deeper into the realm of math by understanding the fundamentals and nuances of mathematical operations, place value, and rational numbers. We will approach problems beyond pen and paper solutions through exploration, projects and games.

Sew Easy
Learn to sew and make your own drawstring backpack to use for school, sports, dance, beach, sleepovers, or anything you like! Students will learn how to attach a button, a few basic hand sewing stiches, how to operate a sewing machine, and get the chance to make their own bag to keep forever!

Middle School Success Academy
The Middle School Success Academy Is a unique opportunity for rising 7th grade student’s in Brevard County to prepare for a successful transition into the middle school curriculum and environment. Students will build confidence as new middle school students by developing and expanding their academic, technological and social skills. Participants will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with their peers to critically solve a variety of project-based learning activities and scenarios while also exploring college & career pathways. Students will participate and engage in interactive, meaningful activities to set goals, identify challenges, and learn strategies for success. The Basics of Sewing
In this course students will learn the basics of sewing. Everything from threading a needle to sewing a hem. Ideally, we would have a sewing machine for all students. There would be multiple projects they would complete at the end of the 3 weeks. Each week there will be a project which get more advanced each week. Within these projects, there will be certain basic sewing skills they learn to make them a successful seamstress. They will also learn about the textile of fabric and what materials work well for basic sewing.

Social Media Management
Everyone thinks that they are going to be the next influencer, but a very low percentage of people actually get to that level. The truth is that social media is a tool that can be used beneficially to amplify powerful messages and voices. This week-long course will focus on the question: How can you use social media responsibly and helpfully to benefit your community? Students will have opportunities to learn about social media marketing and SEO content strategies.

Basketball from A to Z
Students will learn skills around the theme of our favorite sport - BASKETBALL! What makes this program different from typical basketball camps are the various basketball related skills all students can learn. Some of these skills will include basketball skills development - individual and team offensive and defensive drills, controlled 3v3 and 5v5 situations, and officiated 3v3 and 5v5 scrimmages (better skilled to try out for high school). We will work on conditioning to include exercises to improve core and reduce injury (this skill could interest students to learn about Kinesiology). Students will learn Basic Athletic First Aid - fundamental injury care (this skill could interest students to learn about Athletic Training). Students will learn Officiating - this skill could interest students to learn to officiate actual contests. Students will learn Scorekeeping/Statistics/Filming - this skill could help participants become student managers in college and earn potential scholarship money. We will also work on the skills of Public Announcing/Venue Set-up & Logistics - students will learn about these off the court skills to get a better understanding of their on the court importance.

Sublimation and Digital Design: Create Shirts, Hats, Mugs, Keychains and Many Others!
This course will go through the process of designing and creating sublimation! We will learn how to design logos, artwork, and create designs for teams and clubs. Then students will get to print their designs on t-shirts, mugs, tumblers, keychains, and hats. This course will cover copyright and intellectual property law as well as how to budget if you are going to start a business. Students will leave knowing how to promote their club, sport, or event with keepsake items that will be treasured forever.

Mental Toughness in Sports
This program is designed to build confidence through skill building as well as mindfulness and awareness activities. Athletes will work through scenarios and writing activities in small groups and individually to better prepare them for in-game situations and skills for life. Athletes will have a chance to play different sports and games and take a leadership position in teaching skills from their sport(s) to others. This program is open to beginning athletes through competitive athletes in any sport. All genders and skill levels are welcome. Come learn and have fun!

Drones in School
Beginner to Advanced. No experience needed.
Welcome to Aircraft in School. Join Ms. Santana and learn about the world of drones. Students will fly drones and practice maneuvering with simulations and the aircraft provided in the camp. Students will receive a job role and work in teams to present their own drone company: Project Manager, Graphic Designer, Manufacturing Engineer, Marketing Coordinator, Drone Technician. Students will study and receive the T.R.U.S.T. license by the end of week session 3. The pass rate is 100% in this camp, guaranteed. Students will primarily be studying for other examinations and licenses that require further action after camp: Part 61 Certificate, Part 107 License (age 16+) and the FAA Knowledge Test.

Macramé Makers and Business Builders Bootcamp
The MACRAME MAKERS AND BUSINESS BUILDERS BOOTCAMP provides a comprehensive immersion into creativity, business, and digital marketing. Through hands-on workshops, campers will learn macramé fundamentals through crafting sessions. These will cover basic and advanced knotting techniques and patterns as we make various projects such as plant holders, jewelry, belts, lanyards, coasters, key chains and wall hangings, etc. Entrepreneurship workshops will focus on what it takes to build your business from the ground up to include business planning, budgeting, marketing, advertising, and customer service. Campers will create their own website, where they will showcase, and mock sell their creations with compelling product listings and visually appealing images. Each student will receive a copy of their website for future use. They will also create a unique business card they can use to boost sales and promote their business. The bootcamp provides an enriching learning journey that seamlessly combines artistic expression with essential business skills, enabling students to excel in both creative pursuits and entrepreneurial ventures.

Painting with A Swirl
Have fun and make art! Join Ms. Santana for Painting with a Swirl. Grades: 7-12th welcome! Session: 1 and 2. (Feel free to join for one or both weeks.) Beginner to Advanced. No experience needed. Students will produce 4-8 works of art guaranteed and will be given a daily topic/lesson. Topics include: Pricing, Color Theory, Foundation, Brush Technique, Tools, and Acrylic Paint. Students will have creative freedom as well and have moments where they will paint together as a class. Materials will be provided, but you can feel free to bring your own. The focus is acrylic painting, but Origami, Charcoal, Clay, and other forms of art are welcome!

Algebra I Summer EOC BootCamp
The goal is to provide an opportunity for students to refresh their math skills in the middle of summer. Students will receive targeted Algebra instruction prior to retaking the Algebra I EOC in July. Our teachers review student data from the school year, creating a plan to provide support where each students shows the need.

Multimedia Design Focus on Cricut
Students have the opportunity to unleash their creativity through Cricut Machines, crafting dynamic projects utilizing a diverse array of materials such as cardboard, paper, wall, and window vinyl cling, among countless others. Under instructional guidance, students can explore a spectrum of design possibilities, from textiles to paper circuits, harnessing the power of the Cricut. This innovative tool not only fosters hands-on learning but also cultivates essential 21st-century skills including Design Thinking, Creativity, and Innovation.

Science Research Workshop
The Science Research Workshop is a 3 week summer camp designed to help prepare rising 7-9th grade students for taking Science Research and participating in the Regional Science Fairs at the District level. The basic ins and outs of middle school and high school research will be covered including how to: select a project idea, research background information, design an experiment, analyze data, work with statistics, and create a poster for competition. A variety of hands-on labs across different research categories will be conducted along with a number of engineering design challenges, and other hands on/minds on activities. The workshop will wrap up with the design and presentation of a complete research poster using student collected data from one of the projects they worked on. Our goal is to provide students with the necessary skills and resources to hit the ground running when their research class starts in August.

South Brevard Summer Band
Week 1: Students with no band experience will have the opportunity to try multiple band instruments, including flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba, and percussion. Students do not need any prior instrumental music experience.
All students will also participate in a daily character and team building activities. The idea is that this camp will help the students take on leadership rolls and to help the incoming students’ transition into middle school.

The Art of Stepping 101
"A Step Above: Stepping 101"
Stepping 101 is a one-week opportunity for interested steppers in 8th-10th grades. Step dancing is a form of percussive dance in which the participants entire body is used as an instrument to make complex rhythms and sounds through a mixture of footsteps, hand claps, and spoken word. Throughout the week, steppers will learn the origin and art of stepping as well as create a routine as a team with the help of the coach. Steppers will showcase their routine on the last day of Enrichment Camp to parents and guests. This will be a fun-filling and an opportunity your child will not want to miss! (Prior step experience is not necessary.)

Creativity Through Cricut Design, Canva, and Sublimation
Participants will learn how to create unique designs using Cricut Design and Canva. Their designs will then be used to create unique products such as mini photo albums, tote bags, baseball caps, t-shirts, and much more through sublimation and vinyl applications.

Acrylic Pouring With Fancy Yancey
Explore the world of acrylic pouring! Ms. Yancey will teach you at lease two pouring techniques each day. You will also learn how to create a pouring medium and add it to acrylic paint to use on your work each day. We will also explore creations made from acrylic skins (jewelry and collages). At the end of the session, you will have over 10 original pieces of artwork to display at home!
