Each session has limited space available, you will receive a confirmation e-mail confirming your student's registration status as either Enrolled, Waitlisted, or Denied due to capacity being met. FunToM3ntals Math Camp
This 1-week program is designed to re-educate students' minds in mathematics and math language. Camp will push students to dive deeper into the realm of math by understanding the fundamentals and nuances of mathematical operations, place value, and rational numbers. We will approach problems beyond pen and paper solutions through exploration, projects and games.

The Basics of Sewing
In this one-week course, students will learn the basics of sewing. Everything from threading a needle to sewing a hem. Ideally, we would like to have a sewing machine for all students, however we will share if needed. Each student will learn basic sewing tasks to make them a successful seamstress, complete a few sewing projects and learn about textile of fabrics.

Games We Play
“Games We Play" will be a course that would look at various games, compare and contrast them, and research popular game history. Do you know where checkers came from? Why is someone “it” in tag? This course will discuss what makes a game fun, fair, and favorable and of course play lots of games from board, computer, to physical games involving movement. The students will put their experience to use and create their own game writing directions, rules, creating the board and or pieces, be responsible for showing others how their game is played and on the last day students play their games with each other.
This course will contain a reading comprehension and writing component. There's a creative aspect to it and socioemotional topics such as fairness, patience, integrity, and honesty will also be addressed.

Summer STEM Event
The Summer STEM Event will introduce students to engineering.
Week one will introduce students to the engineering design process through experimentation and design. Students will participate in hands-on experiments that encourage students to record and analyze data, practice note-taking, learn design-failure and challenge students to become problem solvers.
Week two will focus on alternative energy with solar energy design.
Week three will focus on kinetic and potential energy with CAD introduction and machine building.
Week four will introduce rocket science, including hands-on exploration of the challenges faced by Aerospace Engineers.

SCELS Enrichment: Scholars Cultivating Exceptional Life Skills
Students will receive instruction in Resilience, Mindfulness, and Emotional Regulation. SCELS is an enrichment program that will help students to develop character skills, coping skills, and problem-solving skills. Life skills needed to help students become productive and resilient citizens.

Introduce students to the basics. They will learn the abc, numbers up to 50, greetings, farewells, exchange names, state their age, ask questions and much more!

Mental Toughness in Sports
This program is designed to build confidence through skill building as well as mindfulness and awareness activities. Athletes will work through scenarios and writing activities in small groups and individually to better prepare them for in-game situations and skills for life. Athletes will have a chance to play different sports and games and take a leadership position in teaching skills from their sport(s) to others. This program is open to beginning athletes through competitive athletes in any sport. All genders and skill levels are welcome. Come learn and have fun!

Be a Good Egg and Read!
We will be reading a series of books, The Smart Cookie, Sour Grapes, The Big Cheese, for example. We will be doing art projects from each story. All week we will be creating our own story with illustrations. That we will be taking home on Thursday.

Acrylic Pouring With Fancy Yancey
Explore the world of acrylic pouring! Ms. Yancey will teach you at lease two pouring techniques each day. You will also learn how to create a pouring medium and add it to acrylic paint to use on your work each day. We will also explore creations made from acrylic skins (jewelry and collages). At the end of the session, you will have over 10 original pieces of artwork to display at home!

Students will learn to name and read notes and play them on the keyboard and various classroom melodic instruments. Music is both an art and a science. When learning to experience music as art, math and science, students are empowered, providing an experience that can be magical, transformative, confidence-building...and a lot of fun!

Elementary Computer Skills and Applications
Students will learn skills necessary for basic computer tasks. Students will learn typing strategies, how to send an email, word processing programs, how to make presentations, and how to use spreadsheets. When available, students will be able to access Microsoft and Google programs to accommodate various teacher preferences. Skill level will vary based on students' prior experience.

Fun With Stories and Words, A Creative Writing Camp
Do you have a love for reading and writing? Do you have a story that is swirling in your imagination, and you're ready to put it down in print? This Creative Writing Camp is for you! During this 2-week session, we will explore what authors use to develop their writing. If you have a love for journaling, new words, fun poetry, or have a picture book idea, let's write it down. Throughout the session, we will look at published authors, have fun writing sessions (no grades!), play word games, and even make a few original writing crafts. You will leave camp with a Writer's Notebook, writing tools, and a published writing piece. We will wrap up camp with a "Young Author's Cafe" where we will share our writing pieces.

The 3 Piggy Opera: A 3 Little Pigs Musical
Would you love to act on stage? Would you love to learn and sing some fun songs with friends? Do you love the story of the 3 Little Pigs? If you answered, “YES!” then you will have a blast being a part of “The 3 Piggy Opera”! Every student who attends is guaranteed a part in this musical! Most of the songs will be performed chorally. Parts of the songs will be sung by the actors playing the parts. This production will be performed on stage in front of family and friends! There will be scenery, costumes, and props! This will be so much fun! You’ll be so excited to come to school every day! You’ll make new friends and learn how to work as a team as we bring this production to life! Elementary Engineering is a camp where students will build and create using specific problem-solving skills. Learn the Engineering Design process while creating an egg-drop project, stomp rocket, and more! Testing isn’t the final step, we will re-design and re-test to create optimal prototypes. Summer Art Camp
Each week students will have a new theme of fun activities, including:
Create beautiful artworks every day and learn new artistic techniques.
Master your skills in drawing, painting, and sculpting. Students will also be working on printmaking, collage, mix media projects, while learning art history through art games and fun activities. Students will enjoy staying active with Yoga and Creative movements program.

Beginning Cake Decorating
Basic cake decorating skills will be taught from icing cakes, putting borders on cakes, making different flowers, decorating cupcakes, and color combinations. Students will end the week with a fully decorated master piece to take home. Students will also take home the tools to continue practice at home.

Caputo's Crochet Camp!
Would you like to learn a coping skill that is proven to relieve stress, anxiety and depression? This club will teach you the basics of crochet which is a life long, ancient skill that is repetitive and calming to the brain.
