Did you know that Michael Jordan did not make his high school basketball team? Did you know that Walt Disney's first employer told him he lacked imagination and had no good ideas? Did you know Dr. Seuss' first book idea was rejected over 27 times before finally finding someone who would agree to publish it? What do these successful people have in common? They all have the grit and determination to fail and to try again and again and again. They would not give up. They persevered and worked hard to achieve their dreams. They all have a GROWTH MINDSET.
This year, we will be working hard to make sure each child believes in themselves and their ability to learn and grow daily! We will NOT fear failure. We will celebrate mistakes as exciting opportunities to learn! All students should feel safe to take risks and try new things!
