What is G.A.T.E.?

Gifted And Talented Education is for students who are identified as being gifted and in need of specialized instruction.  Those identified as gifted participate in enrichment programs and receive services according to their intellectual and academic abilities and needs.

How do you have your child evaluated for G.A.T.E.?

• Simply write an email addressed to one of the “Teachers of the Gifted” stating that you would like your child to be evaluated.  Be sure to include the child’s full name, grade and why you feel that they would benefit from participation in the program.  They will then guide you through the lengthy process.
