Southgate Community School District is excited to provide 5 weeks of FREE Summer Programming from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm powered through funding by our Summer Discovery Grant through the United Way and the Ballmer Group for students currently in Kindergarten - 8th grade! The grant will also fund a small pilot cohort of 18 current Southgate GSRP students for the 5 week of camps.
The Free Summer Programming runs from June 22- July 24, 2026. These exciting experiences are designed to amplify our students' literacy and math skills through engaging themes and interests. Literacy and math skills will be taught each day by a certified teacher in a fun, camp atmosphere.
This is not a drop in camp. You must attend the full week of camp. Funding is based on attendance. Spots will be filled first with Southgate Community School District Students committing to 5 weeks of camp with at least 75% attendance. Registration will begin on April 13 at 8:00 a.m.
If spots remain, registration will open for out of district students and SCSD students signing up for less than 4 weeks of camp on May 11.
This summer programming will also include FREE breakfast, lunch and snacks.
Each week they attend they can earn attendance incentives and Southgate Prizes!
