Classes are based on the grade the student completes in June of this year.
Free summer programming is provided each week from 8:00 to 4:00. Check in and breakfast begin at 8:00 and Camps run from 8:30-1:00. In addition, all campers are encouraged to take part in our Exploration Stations from 1:00 PM - 4:00 pm each day. This is a new opportunity where we amplify students' strengths through high interest activities including STEM, art, music, sports, and special visitors. A calendar of activities for Exploration Station will be provided to campers each week.
No camps are being held the week of June 30th.
Full-day latchkey is available during the weeks of June 30th, July 28th, August 4th, August 11th, and August 18th. Registration available on the district website or contact April Roberts - robertsa1@sgate.k12.mi.us.
Meet Up and Eat Up will provide breakfast and lunch each day for students who participate. Students can start receiving breakfast at 8:00am.
Do you have a green thumb? This fun camp lets students engage their artistic side while they learn about concepts like experimentation, seeds, and planting. This camp is offered week 3 and week 4. Please choose only 1 week.
Campers will explore the fascinating world of sharks through thrilling games, hands-on crafts, and exciting activities. Each day is packed with jaw-some fun, from shark-themed scavenger hunts to creating their own shark crafts, and learning cool facts about these ocean predators. This camp is offered enrichment weeks 2 and 3. Please choose 1 week only.
Do you ever dream of being on the stage? Explore the world of theater with acting games, singing, and dancing. We will be making puppets and making stories come to life.
Play games, puzzles, and cards to learn strategic thinking, logic, and problem solving skills while improving literacy and math skills. Playing games with friends fosters teamwork and grows social skills while having a blast.
Come have fun with Coding and Robots! This camp will focus on teamwork, planning, design, problem solving, and building with various STEM materials. This camp is offered enrichment weeks 2, 3, and 4. Please choose 1 week only.
ELL students can come join Mrs. Rroko and Mrs. Ibraj this summer to work on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English. Students will be using storytelling, games, cooperative learning and play to immerse themselves in culture and customs. Students will sign up with Mrs. Rroko an Mrs. Ibraj (This is ONLY for students who speak English as their second language.)
Dive into the depths of the ocean in this hands-on summer camp! Explore marine life up close by dissecting a squid, a starfish, and another fascinating sea creature. Through engaging activities, you’ll learn about ocean ecosystems, conservation, and the incredible adaptations of sea creatures. You will also conduct STEM experiments, explore marine science through hands-on investigations, and unleash your creativity with ocean-inspired art projects. This camp is perfect for curious minds who love science and the sea!
Explore art and its connections to you! Use different types of fun media like found objects, paint, pencils, and chalk to learn about art and the people who create it.
Checkmate! Chess camp is the perfect camp to learn this competitive game that you can play for the rest of your life. Whether you are brand new to the game or already have some skills, this is the place to be this summer. Chess is also positively related to mathematical achievement. Campers will get their own chess set to take home with them.
Whether you are new to the stage or a pro, you will learn skills like singing, dancing, and character work. Campers will participate in a production from beginning through the final performance. Camp will be held at Grogan Elementary with a Friday afternoon performance of the play for families and friends at Anderson High School.
This program will utilize the LEGO SPIKE Prime Robots and software that our Elementary Robotics Teams use during competition season. Teamwork and cooperative learning will be emphasized. This camp is offered enrichment weeks 2, 3, and 4. Please choose 1 week only.

Have you always wanted to be in a band but didn't know where to start? Mr. Richendollar is looking for singers, drummers, guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, and percussionists who are interested in forming a district Rock Band. Beginners and advanced rockers are welcome, but a willingness to learn and practice are a must. We will play some cover tunes and compose original songs. We will learn how musicians use math and literacy in their music. This is open to all students that just finished grade 3 - 11th grade. This camp runs for four weeks and attendance is crucial to success. Please register for all 4 weeks of Rock Band Camp.
