This is the Italian composer Fulvia Caldini's Clockwork Toccata for recorder ensemble.

You'll notice that there are recorders of different sizes. The bigger the recorder, the lower the sound. That's science!

This is a fragment of a flute that was found in a cave in Germany. It was made either from mammoth or vulture bone. Testing has shown that is over 40,000 years old! Yes, the recorder has been around, in some form or another, for quite a long time.
