Pauleena Rivero

Ms. Rivero was born and raised in San Francisco. She attended Ulloa Elementary, A. P. Giannini Junior High School (what it was called back in the day!), and Abraham Lincoln High School. After high school, Ms. Rivero attended DeLuxe School of Cosmetology earning a Cosmetology License. She landed a job as a paraprofessional and entered the Paraprofessional to teacher program with SFUSD. Entering the para career program is where her educational journey began. She attended CCSF and transferred to S.F. State where she earned a Liberial Arts degree and Masters in Education. Ms. Rivero became a teacher, and then earned her Public Personal Service degree to become a dean of students. Ms. Rivero lives in her childhood home with her family in SF’s Sunset District and is proud of her strong SF roots!!!
