Grade Level Information

In the fall, Counselors visit Social Studies classes to review graduation requirements, UC/CSU A-G requirements, resources, and complete college/career readiness activities by using Naviance. 

In the spring, Counselors meet with rising 9th graders, and current 9th-11th grade students during the spring semester to complete the following school years course selection. Counselors district-wide are assigned middle schools and in the spring visit middle schools to share high school information with incoming 9th grade students, as well as guide them with their course selection. Additionally, in the spring, Counselors visit current 9th-11th grade English classes to review course pathways/options and follow-up with a short individual appointment to complete their course selection.
