Writing Workshops

This course introduces students to the process of working with a Writing Coach, who will continue working with them in their 12th grade application process. 

One unique aspect of this course is its focus on small-group instruction: because each Writing Coach has a cohort, there are often parts of class where each group will break off to complete an essay analysis, a grammar challenge, or a community-builder. 

This design helps create opportunities for robust, deep discussion, build relationships between scholars and coaches, and make it easier for scholars to access help when needed.
