Each year, Selah Vikings compete in the national Poetry Out Loud competition. A program designed to build understanding of poetry, increase memorization skills, and develop public speaking.
This year we had three contestants in the school competition: Whitman Peters, Ella Peters, and Nicole Horne. Ella and Whit went on to compete at the regional level to test their skills against other scholars in the region.
