SELF-MANAGEMENT

Affective Self-Management is the ability to manage one’s state of mind (emotions and thoughts) effectively. This ability is gained when one can develop their self and social awareness. The topics taught to nurture this ability is emotional management (managing stress and anxiety), self-motivation (practising positive thinking), resilience (“failing well” and dealing with change) and mindfulness (overcoming distraction).
