Hi, I’m Aidan.  I love to dance.  I have been dancing and performing with Second Echo Ensemble for a decade.  The strength and power I feel when I’m dancing gives me a sense of freedom.  It is a way for me to help you understand me better.  I want to help people to be happy and feel like I can do that through my dancing.  Come into my tardis. A circular clock is suspended from the ceiling against one of the wooden pillars on the left hand side. There is a projection onto the back sandstone wall of large white spirals against a contrasting black background which spins in a clockwise direction creating an optical illusion. In front of the projection is an open wooden box facing the viewer. The artist Aidan is projected inside the box wearing a dark suit with white shirt and tie. The video is in sepia tones creating an older era, with Aidan creating gestural poses. The wooden box sits atop a black plinth, there is a black and white cow hide on the floor with a black fluffy circular cushion inviting the viewer to sit.
