Since I was 5 years old, I have always been passionate about the Ocean. My parents, being avid divers, instilled the passion in me, and got my first PADI certification at 10 years old. Advanced Scuba Diver. We had the opportunity to go to Madagascar where I interned with marine biology experts, delving into the rich biodiversity of the region. I meticulously observed and documented the varied composition of marine flora and fauna, developing a profound understanding of the ecological dynamics of these habitats. My focus was particularly drawn to studying the impacts of pollution on the marine fauna and the flora, analyzing environmental challenges faced by coral reef ecosystems, including the critical issues of bleaching and ocean acidification.
The most captivating aspect of my underwater explorations was studying the behavior of exotic small marine life, in particular nudibranchs, rhinopias, seahorses, frogfish, and ghost pipefish. Observing these creatures in their natural habitats not only enriched my knowledge but also fueled my passion for marine conservation. This hands-on experience has equipped me with valuable skills in marine biology, marine conservation, sustainable tourism, and scuba diving, reinforcing my commitment to marine research and the sustainability of our oceans.
This past summer (2024) I had the chance to stay on a friend's sailboat in French Polynesia and travel in the region meeting locals and discovering beautiful untouched nature.
