Welcome! I'm Cédric Hollande, a senior at the University of Pennsylvania, pursuing a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics with a concentration in Robotics and Mechatronics. Born and raised in France, I hold dual citizenship in the US and France, and I am bilingual in both English and French.
My academic and professional journey is centered around robotics and software development. I’ve honed my skills in mechanical design, programming languages (Python, C/C++, Java, and Linux), machine learning, and AI.
At NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, where I work as a Software Development Intern, I have developed telemetry and telecommand space communication systems, including a Mars Rover mockup for testing crucial space technologies. This hands-on experience has sharpened my technical expertise and deepened my understanding of the practical applications of robotics in aerospace.
At UPenn, I manage operations at the Rapid Prototyping Laboratory, where I lead process improvement initiatives, optimize the use of 3D printers and laser cutters, and provide support to the research and student communities. My blend of skills positions me at the crossroads of mechanical systems, software innovation, and profitability analysis.
Beyond my technical work, I’m passionate about sustainable practices and have volunteered on various community projects, from supporting women entrepreneurs in Ghana to teaching tennis in France. As Philanthropy Chair for Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI), I’ve led record-breaking fundraising efforts for local Philadelphia charities.
I’m eager to continue exploring opportunities where I can contribute to groundbreaking projects in robotics and software development, driving innovation and making a lasting impact.
