Whilst we hope that the careers programme offered in school will help our students to prepare for their next steps in life, the support of parents and carers is obviously also critical. The decisions faced by young people are varied and challenging, and the careers market is constantly changing and evolving. Help and guidance from parents and carers can make all the difference at key transition points such as making options choices in Year 9 and making applications to post-16 providers in Year 11.
