SHS Careers Portal

Our Vision

Preparing all students for life in modern Britain is one of our key priorities at Seaham High School. We aim to provide the best and most up-to-date careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) so that our students are both informed and equipped to make career decisions throughout their lives.

We offer support to all of our students across all year groups, so that they are prepared for adult life and the ever-changing world of work. Our CEIAG provision is delivered via our curriculum and PHSE / tutorial programme as well as bespoke events throughout the school year.

Our CDI Registered Careers Coordinator is Mrs C Rochester, RCDP.

Our SLT member with direct responsibility for CEIAG is Mr C Harbron (Assistant Headteacher), and can be contacted at hac@seahamhighschool.com

Our CEIAG policy and programme have been formally adopted by the school's governing body. The CEIAG link governor is Mr D Miller.
