Key Tips:

• Use the Google sign in option

• Import classes from Google Classroom - saves time and updates automatically

• Use sessions to monitor students during class (Be careful not to run sessions for students in other classes!)

• Try turning on "Off-task alerts" to be notified with students are visiting sites determined to not be school-related.

• Create Scenes to limit the websites students can visit. Create allowed or blocked scenes and take advantage of the Quick Lists from GoGuardian and our district.

• Lock student screens to bring student attention to the teacher

Want to block Google Chat? Use Scenes in one of two ways:

• Blocked list: Add the "Block Google Chat" Quick List to a Blocked Websites List in Scenes.  

• Allowed list: Click Advanced Filtering when setting up the Scene and type in mail.google.com. (Chat is built in to Gmail so you will also block student email.)
