In order to start your application process, you will need to sign in to eRezLife using your SDSUid and password.
Once you begin the application process, make sure to click on and review the information and instructions contained on every tab at the top of your profile to thoroughly understand what you must complete. You can access your account up until the deadline to make any edits or updates.
Fill out your profile and demographic information.
Answer all applicable student leader application questions located under to "Questions" tab.
Attach a resume in .pdf format under the "Supporting Documents" tab.
Answer essay questions.
Note: Individuals are increasingly using Artificial Intelligence (AI), including ChatGPT or related tools for the creation of text, images, computer code, audio, or other media. For the purposes of this application, we ask that your responses are written using your own original voice/thoughts. If you employ Chat GPT(or other AI system) for the purpose of streamlining your ideas, please make sure to include proper attribution for the use of the resource.
Click "submit."
You will receive an email to confirm when your application has been submitted. On the overview tab of your profile, a message stating the date and time that your application was submitted will be displayed. Until this occurs, your profile message will state "incomplete," and this means an action is still needed on your part. Review each tab again to ensure you have completed all action steps and have submitted your application. All email correspondences will be sent to your @sdsu student email account.

Attend a Meet-&-Greet(optional) and Prepare for Interviews
Interviews will be about 25 minutes. Applicants must participate on the designated interview dates.

Show up on Time
A good rule of thumb: Try to arrive at least 5 minutes early before your interview.
Career Services is a great resources to potentially practice interview skills and resume building.
Tip #2: Think "Team"
Understand the role(s) you take on within a group and how you best communicate with others.
Come prepared with examples of previous team experiences (past jobs, sports, group projects)
Tip #3: Be Your Best Self!
We want to know the real you and look for authentic people looking to make a difference in the residence halls.
Tell us about your passions and how they relate to the position.
More information will be sent via email if you are offered an interview.
All inteviews will be VIRTUAL. Candidates will wait in a zoom waiting room until the interview team admits candidates to the zoom. Interviews will be with two REO team members looking to learn more about you and what you can bring to the table.
Unfortunately, there are no make-ups or rescheduling for no shows.
