About Mr. Vizza:

After graduating from the William Penn Charter School, I attended Temple University on a golf scholarship and earned a BA in mathematics.  In the years that followed, I earned a M.Ed in Mathematics Education at Cabrini College.


I have been teaching mathematics for twenty-eight years with experience in both private and public education.   I am currently entering my  thirteenth year at STHS.  In my last job, at North Penn High School, I was a part-time CFF Coach (Classrooms for the Future) as well as part of the mathematics faculty.  I joined Springfield Township School District in the 2009.  In my second year at STHS, I began teaching Computer Science 9 along with mathematics.  I now singularly teach in the math department.  I also spent nine years as a technology consultant, providing Smart Board Training for users in both education and industry.  Some of my clients have included the PA Board of Health, Villanova University, Lehigh University, Centenary College, DelVal College and the Delaware Center for Educational Technology.  I have been involved with the STHS golf program at since 2010.
