CEO - Neal Donegani

I am the CEO of this venture. I have been a public school educator in British Columbia, Canada for ten years, and for the past five years have been teaching computer science at the middle school level. Over the years as an educator I have adopted many online learning tools, and have become frustrated with the lack of readability of the privacy policies that accompany these tools. As a teacher, it is my number one priority to ensure the safety of my students, including that of their online security. PrivaSearch's conception is based on the hope that the product will bring reprise to teachers, like myself, when adopting new online EdTech products. I have contacts within the larger scheme of data privacy such as the US based Future of Privacy Forum, a nonprofit organization that has an education focus that helps bring the stakeholders (government, developers, teachers, parents and students) together to agree on a privacy plan to serve all parties. As well, I have a contact at Canada's Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC), also a non-profit that champions their expertise in delivering Canadian citizens into a prosperous digital economy.

The PrivacyCheck Team

PrivaSearch is looking for the University of Texas at Austin, Center for Identity (UT CID) team who cleverly put together PrivacyCheck to offer their product and their services to help build PrivaSearch. We at PrivaSearch do not want to reinvent the wheel here; we just want to build upon the idea. The PrivacyCheck team is made up of several members who include researchers, graduate and undergraduate students.

PrivaSearch's Software Development Team: product owner, two or more developers, privacy lawyer and scrum master.

Product owner: This is the project manager/business analyst who will liaison between the developers and lawyer.

Developers: This crew will be adjusting PrivacyCheck's software and building PrivaSearch's software.

Privacy lawyer: The privacy lawyer will be available to go over the legalese in the privacy documents, and will help guide the development of the ML learning database.

Scrum Master: This individual makes sure that the team, especially developers, are doing what they are supposed to be doing.
